RE: Degree of Wegdes?
Here's a curve. I feel the Vokey 50 goes a little shorter in distance than the matching AP2 50 at 51 degrees. So I use that and like the profile better. Then use the Vokey 56 and 58. Don't use the 60...

Currently at 52 / 56 /60 but thinking of going to 50 /54 /58 for more options

I bend all my wedges 1 degree weak to add some more bounce. I carry 47/51/55/59. The 46/47 is a prototype, the 50/51 is a R grind, 54/55 is an F grind and the 58/59 is an M grind.
BTW, the Spin Mill has non-conforming groves. Only an issue in competition.
just to attempt to clarify Don's statement. 2024 is the first possible date that amateur golfers...

I've been playing a 52 and 58 set up for years, it works for me! I did try 50/54/58 to match the stronger loft of the irons I was using at the time, but soon reverted back to the original two wedges....

What is everyone's wedge setup? I went to 52 and 58 this summer and really enjoyed it. Came from the traditional 52,56,60.

I think Joshua M and Grant V nailed it. The 56-11 is a Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Tour Chrome '09 Wedge, and, the 252-08 is a Titleist Vokey 200 Tour Tumbled Wedge. A web site to help identify clubs is...

Might also be the shaft flex, not just the loft. Fitting session would figure that out.

Had my 52* sm6 bent to 50*, 54* was left standard and 58 bent to 59* by a master clubfitter to try to gap from my 45* standarf 716 T-MB pw. I feel as though the now 50* still plays closer to my 54*...

48/52/56/60. Only reason for a 48 is because my AP3 PW is 43 degree so I wanted the right gapping for my distances.

I play a 48.08 (PW) F Grind SM6, 52.08 (Gap) F Grind SM5, 56.10 (Sand) M Grind SM5, and a 60.08 (Lob) M Grind SM6 all in tour chrome. Switched from Cleveland 2 years ago and haven't looked back.

Wich is the most common wedge to play on soft course S-F or other? I don’t have time to be fit!!!
View ArticleRE: S-F etc
Typically the softer the course the more bounce you want. Go on vokey.com for more info. Josh

Certainly it depends on your swing, but the K Grind is excellent in soft conditions. It's a monster out of bunkers too. F grind is also good for steeper swingers and soft conditions IMO.
